When a perforating gun fires thousands of feet downhole, every machined component inside that system must perform flawlessly. A carrier with dimensional drift, a sub that fails under hydrostatic pressure, or a housing with concentricity problems can mean a misfire, a carrier rupture, or debris left in the wellbore. There is no second chance at the bottom of a well.
